Steel Harbor

Donation info

Help build the Harbor — carefully.

Your support helps fund outreach, education, resources, and programs for blue-collar workers and trade families. Steel Harbor is preparing donation systems with the seriousness this mission deserves.

Giving status

The mission is ready. The public fundraising path has to be clean.

Steel Harbor is preparing responsible donation processing and partner giving. The paperwork, banking, compliance, privacy, receipts, and donation flow need to be correct before public fundraising is pushed hard.

That is not hesitation. That is how a serious nonprofit earns trust.

Tax status

Steel Harbor is operated by Blue Collar Mind Foundation Inc., a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. EIN: 41-3198519.

Donors should keep receipts and consult their own tax advisor for deductibility questions.

Ways support can come in

National retailers, local shops, companies, and individuals all need a clean path.

Individual donations

A simple public donation path once banking, processor, receipts, and state solicitation requirements are clean.

Retail checkout giving

Round-up and register campaigns for retailers, tool stores, supply houses, and local businesses that serve workers.

Corporate sponsorships

Support for outreach kits, printed resources, family guides, suicide prevention awareness, grief resources, and jobsite materials.

In-kind support

Printing, design, event space, postage, gift cards, tools, safety materials, and operational support for nonprofit use.

Donation standards

Private. Responsible. Clean records.

Online giving will use a secure third-party processor.
Steel Harbor should not store full card data.
Donation pages should keep clear safety and non-medical disclaimers.
Donations should be receipted and recorded cleanly.
Retail checkout campaigns should wait until compliance, bank setup, processor setup, and written partner agreements are clean.
No one should be pressured to share personal grief, medical history, or crisis details in order to give.
